Spooner, Wisconsin– The Wisconsin Lumberjacks are pleased to announce the signing of Jeremiah Lebsack for the 2019-2020 season.

Lebsack, an 18 year old 5’11” forward, is a 2019 product of Duluth Marshall High School who adds to an already strong forward group signed for the Lumberjacks 2019-2020 inaugural season.

Garrett Hendrickson, The Wisconsin Lumberjacks Associate Head Coach had this comment when asked about the signing of Lebsack, “Jeremiah is a guy that we feel has strong potential. He brings a blue collar work ethic in and solid skill based foundation. Definitely a guy with a chip on his shoulder who is out to prove himself to the higher levels.”

“With what we feel Jeremiah brings in terms of skills and his eagerness for development we like how he fits in with our program,” added Hendrickson.

Jeremiah had a positive visit to Lumberjacks’ home arena, The Spooner Civic Center, which helped make his decision. “Getting to Spooner was did it for me, seeing the first class facilities as well as getting to meet with the entire staff was a great experience. I’ve been looking for the right place to continue to develop and I felt the Lumberjacks staff was the right fit for that,” added Lebsack.

The Wisconsin Lumberjacks organization would like to welcome Jeremiah and his family to our team and are excited to see him wear a Lumberjacks sweater this upcoming season.
