Jacob Lamoureux continues to sizzle. The Sherwood Park, AB native has 32 goals to lead the SIJHL–five more than Ryder McMillen of Wisconsin. At 44 points he’s 6th in production. Colton Crysler is second in team scoring with 20 goals and 22 assists. Aiden Corbett’s 40 points in 40 games makes him one of 14 players still at the point-a-game level. Matthew MacPherson (9-18-27) and defenceman Dayvan Bull (5-22-27) squeak into the top-40 at 39 and 40.
Jack Osmond is the man in net, having played 31 of the 44 Red Lake games. Osmond is 15-12-2 with a .923 SV% in 1,795 minutes. Trent Boryszczuk is the back-up.
The Miners have three games left against the Bombers–two are postponements from February 3 and 4.
Sioux Lookout is 4-4-2 in their last 10. They are one point behind Thunder Bay in the battle for third place, with three games in hand.
The Bombers are the second most penalized team in the league at 22.3 minutes per game.

Jeremy Dunmore leads the offense with 48 points. Dunmore’s last pointless game was December 3rd. His 18 goals tie him with defenceman Jack Cook. The Walleye, despite leading the league in GPG, do not have a 20-goal man yet. Cook has 43 points. Ethan Lang (13-29-42) and rookie Max Leduc (14-20-34) are in the top-20. Ryan Doucette (10-20-30 in 31 games), Euan Morrison (9-21-30) and Anthony Oviedo round out a balanced attack.
Eric Vanska is 24-5-1 in the crease with 2.72 GAA and .921 SV%. Jack Orchard gives them a top tandem with his 9-3-0/2.31/.914 slash line.

Thunder Bay’s 7-3-0 skein places them in third place, a point ahead of Sioux Lookout. They’ve gone from having the least games played to being tied with Dryden and Wisconsin for the most.
Edison Weeks is third in league scoring with 50 points, on 22 goals and 28 helpers. Defenceman Matt Halushak has 11 goals and 28 points, one point ahead Dylan Winsor and Colby Feist.
Dimitri Trahiotis has four game winners among his 14 goals. Nikolas Campbell has 13 goals and 11 assists in 20 games and Jamie Fuchs has 22 points in 20 contests.
Thunder Bay is the only team in the SIJHL that has two qualified goalies. Conner Lemieux is 12-9-3 in 1,389 minutes while Keenan Marks is 12-5-1 in 1,163. Jero Rossi has been on hand recently to back up Marks as Lemieux has not played since February 13th.
Thunder Bay’s penalty kill is second in the league and their powerplay has perked up recently as well.
Dryden is 6-4-0 in their last 10. Their two game losing streak kept them from making up ground on Kam River.
The Ice Dogs are five goals away from cracking 200 on the season. They have four players in top-20, and another five crammed into the 21-30 spots.
Landen Stromme (22-20-42), James Hooton (24-16-40), Bryce Benfield (17-23-40) and Brady Frattinger (20-17-37) are complemented by Max Roby (17-14-31 in 29 games with 136 PIM), Jordan Pfoh (15-16-31), Ryland Maier (12-19-31) and defenceman Easton Debray (9-21-30).
There are no easy games against Dryden as their 1,373 penalty minutes would suggest.
Eric Clark has a 20-11-1/2.82/.910 stat line. Zac MacDonald is 10-3-0 in 17 games, just 61 minutes shy of the 840 minutes he needs to be in the “qualified goalies” section.
