LUMBERJACKS ADD DEFENSEMAN RYAN WOLF

Spooner, WI- The Wisconsin Lumberjacks have signed Ryan Wolf of Muskegon, MI for the 2019-2020 season.

“Ryan is a guy who we feel is going to come in and immediately put the work in. We think there are things he does really well. He has the ability to make his mark on our roster. He keeps things simple and plays a stay at home defensive game.” said Associate Head Coach Garrett Hendrickson.

Wolf’s signing with the Lumberjacks also shows the importance of the organization having player development at the forefront. Lumberjacks Director of Scouting, Nate Haskins, identified Wolf as a player with a solid foundation with a need for advanced coaching and a solid team around him. “Ryan brings a lot of skill and size to the rink for us. He plays a junior style game already and we plan on being a big part of his development into a college hockey player” added Haskins.

When asked of his signing, Wolf had this to say, “I can’t wait to get to work. I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to make the jump to tier II and for the belief the Lumberjacks staff has in my abilities. My family and I believe that with what the organization has to offer from the top end staff to the unrivaled facilities, it will be a big year for me.”

The organization would like to welcome Ryan to the Lumberjacks family!
